About Me

My wife, Carol, and I had a plan to move to Truro long before we retired here in 2019. We vacationed on the Outer Cape for years, were married at Long Point, and watched both of our daughters get engaged at Herring Cove Beach.  Now, our three grandkids love visiting their Mom-Mom and Mimi on the Cape.

I am a board-certified toxicologist with extensive leadership experience as a manager of large teams in the pharmaceutical sector and oil industry. I was also a representative for global drug development projects, a toxicology expert on strategy teams and research decision boards, and a participant and facilitator on cross-functional projects.

Community Engagement

I currently serve on three Town boards. I am the vice-chair on the Council on Aging (COA) Board, co-chair on the Open Space Committee (OSC), and the OSC member on the Community Preservation Committee. I am proud of the work and my contributions to these committees/boards, especially the focus on the state of the COA. I regularly volunteer with food preparations for the Truro Community Kitchen. I have also engaged in several other volunteer programs—the Center for Coastal Studies, Habitat for Humanity, food pantry deliveries, and assisting a local artist with her after-school program.
